Thursday, March 6, 2025 - 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm, Painting critiques by Nancy Vance

  • Location: COhatch-Polaris, 1554 Polaris Pkwy, Suite 325 - The Meridian Room
  • Program:  Need help with a painting?  Everyone bring on unframed painting that they are working on...maybe for the Spring show.  Nancy Vance, past member of OPAL, will critique and offer some advice.  Nancy currently works in several different mediums and is represented by the Marsha Evan's Gallery.
  • Zoom link will be sent a day or so before the meeting.  If you are planning on joining remotely and want a critique, please email a photo of your painting so we can put up on the screen for Nancy to see.


Sunday, April 6, 2025 - 1 - 2:30 pm- Spring Show Reception

  • Location: Upper Arlington Lutheran Church (UALC), Mill Run Campus, 3500 Mill Run Drive, Hilliard, OH 43026
  • Program: Review and discuss the paintings by our OPAL artists ... stories behind the painting; techniques used; framing; other technical details ... a good way to pass along knowledge to fellow artists.

Friday, August 8, 2025 or Saturday, August 9, 2025 (Weather dependent) - 11:00 am - 2:00 pm - Plein air painting at the Winery at Porter Central

  • Location: Winery at Porter Central, 8290 Porter Central Rd, Sunbury, OH 43074
  • Program: Bring your painting equipment and spend a few hours painting the beautiful sites around the winery.  Those that attended last year had a wonderful time!
